Lack of blog posting, my apology yet again!

I have not been blogging lately (for like 6 weeks)I have many reasons, many being that I havnt been in the 'mood' if that makes sense? I know it is a commitment to own a blog, but I need to allow time for homework and schoolwork which is becoming very important at the moment, but hopefully, soon, I will start doing more regular posts.

Thanks :3

Recipe: Rich Hot Chocolate

Heya! Ok so I have not done a blog recipe before, just so you know, I love to bake, make and eat food. I am a huge chocolate fan, which is going to come in handy with todays recipe. Before we begin I just need to say that I have drawn the pictures on Adobe Illustrator as my camera is not uploading pictures etc.

As I said before, I love chocolate and when it is combined with warm milk to make a drink, im sorry I just cant resist it. Today, we are making Hot Chocolate. But this is not just any hot chocolate, oh no, we are making this out of Nutella, the worlds favourite spread. If you dont like Nutella or are just not a fan of nuts (like me) you can substitute it for Chocolate Spread, Cookie Butter, Marshmallow Fluff, White Chocolate Spread, basically any sweet spread will do.

Ingrediants

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/2-2 tablespoons of your chosen Spread depending on how sweet you want your hot chocolate
  • Marshmallows, Whipped Cream, Cinnamon/Cocoa Powder, Flake (Optional)
Method

1.Heat milk until steaming, you can do this in a microwave or in a pan on top of the stove.

2. When steaming hot, pour into a mug. Stir in Nutella/ Other Spread until it dissolves.

3. Add a layer of marshmallows (optional).
4. Then add your whipped cream (swirled of course) and shake on some cinnamon/cocoa powder and add a flake if you want your hot chocolate to be extra chocolatey.

Serve with a cookie/biscuit if all that chocolate was not enough and enjoy!!

Love always,

Hannah xx

Trend Post: Raving for Ratchet!

Hello everyone! I am in love. I am so in love with a kind of new-ish brand called Ratchet. If you havnt heard of Ratchet, well, no I do not like you (im just kidding, I love you guys really). I have just found out about them, their brightly coloured jumpers are not hard to miss..

Click on the logo to visit their online shop

Now, im not personally a brand person as such, (yes, I dont own a Superdry coat, I do have days where I wish I did) because of their EXTORTIONATE prices for one simple jumper/coat which you can get an identical one for a 10th of the price somewhere else, just without the logo/writing on. But these are definitely an exception. Just to give you an idea of the type of stuff they do, I have lined up my personal favourite jumpers below...

Nebula Splat Ratchet Jumper, £29.00

Blue Tie Dye Ratchet Jumper, £29.00

Slush Ratchet Sweater Jumper, £29.00

Your probably thinking a unicorn has gotten hold of a paintbrush and had a party, but I have to admit, these is a one of a kind brand. If you mixed cute patterns with the Ratchet logo and a rainbow, BAM, you have the Ratchet brand, and I must say they are very, very stylish.

They're all mine I tell you, mine!! Race you to their website...

Love Always,

Hannah xx

Top 3 Autumn/Winter Hats

Hey y'all! Lets face it. Summer is well and truly over. But If you go shopping/online shopping a lot (I have an addiction) you will have found all the Autumn/Winter clothes and accessories coming in!

My personal favourites are snuggly jumpers, fluffy Ugg Boots and especially...hats! Yes hats, and its the perfect time to wear them. Not only do they look very stylish, they also are great for hiding bad hair days (I know that feeling) and keeping your head free from the cold weather. So here are my top 3 for the upcoming 'chilly' months.

1. The Classic Bowler Hat

Black Rolled Brim Bowler Hat: £20.00- River Island

Ahh! Now this is a classic that will never get old. The Bowler hat has to be one of my favourite vintage hats. People say its just for boys/men. I say no. Team with some brown brogues and polka dots for a very stylish classy-but-cute look.

2. The Stylish Beanie Bobble Hat

Scandi Fairisle Beanie: £14.00- Topshop

The beanie can be a symbol of who you are, either cool, quirky, or a fashionista. But since it has been 'revitalised' with a fairisle print (very rustic) it has become more of a hat everyone can where, which I must say looks very chic! Where with a wooly mustard yellow jumper and brown quilted boots for a very cosy look.

3. The Updated Cloche

Asymmetric Bow Cloche Hat: £29.00- Accessorize

If you want to look super cute but want to add a feminine vintage touch, then this hat definitely the one for you. It is one of extra special favourites and is so very much my style. Im so glad they have made a come-back. Wear with a silk bow shirt and over the knee socks to complete the look.

Those are my top 3 Autumn/Winter hats, I am definitely going to save up for these hats for my wardrobe, all I need now is a shopping spree and apple crumble and im all set...

Shop/Online Shop Focus: Bluebird and Buttercup

Hi! So I dont normally do posts like this, this is my first, but it really is to give a big 'shout out' to a shop I think really deserves it. This shop is called 'Bluebird and Buttercup' (adorable name!).

I have chosen this shop in particular, because it is owned by a family friend who began this tiny weeny shop in a buisness park near me. When I first went in this shop last November, I fell in love with the vintage cuteness of the products. With floral pastel patterns, tiny trinkets and pretty gifts, this shop is a true hidden gem, there is no way you could not leave without buying something... (I had to buy a knit blue Deer waterbottle cover, I couldnt resist!)

My top 3 Bluebird and Buttercup buys!

Retro LOVE Mug: £4.00
Vintage Bluebird Tin: £3.00
Silver Tree of Life Necklace: £19.50

'But this shop is not near me?' I hear you ask, ah but it is online, meaning wherever you live in England, you can order a special gift (or three!) from this delightful little shop for bargain prices!
